Kairos Church worship gathering in Sarasota

Welcome to Kairos

You can walk in without knowing the script.

Come as you are. Bring your questions, anxieties, fears, sins, and imperfections. Church is not a museum of saints, but a place where sinners can find grace in Jesus. At Kairos, we want you to find more than a service to attend. We want you to meet a family of God where people are known, loved, prayed for, and invited to follow Christ together.

We wholeheartedly believe that church is not a place to go to, but a family to belong to. That means you do not have to arrive polished. You can come honestly, and we will point one another to the mercy, truth, and hope of Jesus.

WE DON'T GO TO CHURCH.WE ARE THE CHURCH.

Questions

Before you visit.

A few simple answers so you can walk in settled, welcomed, and ready to worship with us.

What time is the Sunday gathering?

Our Sunday gathering begins at 1:30 PM. We recommend arriving a little early so you can park, find your way in, grab coffee, and meet a few people before worship begins. If it is your first time, you do not need to know where everything is; someone will be glad to help you.

Where do you meet?

We currently gather at 7221 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota, FL 34241. We serve people from Sarasota, Venice, Nokomis, Osprey, and the surrounding Southwest Florida area. When you arrive, look for Kairos signs and friendly people who can point you toward the gathering space.

What should I wear?

Come comfortable. You will see people dressed casually and others a little more dressed up. We care much more about welcoming you than what you are wearing, so come as you are and do not feel pressure to fit a certain style.

What is worship like?

Our worship is contemporary, congregational, and Christ-centered. We sing together, pray together, hear Scripture, and respond to God with reverence and joy. The center of Sunday is not performance, but the church hearing from God and responding together.

What about my kids?

We are developing a kids ministry shaped by safety, biblical teaching, joy, and family partnership. We want children to be cared for well and to hear the gospel clearly. If you have questions about kids ministry before you come, send us a note and we will gladly help you prepare.

Do I have to be a Christian to come?

No. Whether you are exploring Christianity, returning to church, new to faith, or simply curious, you are welcome to come, listen, ask questions, and meet people. You will not be pressured to pretend; we want you to encounter Christ, hear the Bible clearly, and take an honest next step.
