Who We Are

We are a church family centered on Jesus, shaped by Scripture and committed to loving our city.

Kairos Church SRQ is a young church plant in Southwest Florida where people are welcomed into worship, Scripture, community, and everyday discipleship. We exist to help people meet Jesus, grow in a real church family, and live on mission in Sarasota. Our church is especially mindful of families, young adults, people new to faith, spiritually weary believers, and anyone looking for a place where the gospel is clear, the Bible is opened, and community feels honest, warm, and personal.

Beliefs Snapshot

The basicsthat shape us.

At Kairos, the gospel is not one topic among many; it is the center of worship, discipleship, and mission.God's Word gives us our foundation, and church family gives people a place to be known, loved, and formed.Together these convictions shape how we welcome guests, serve Sarasota, and follow Jesus every day.

01

Jesus Is Central

The gospel is the center of Christian life. Everything we believe, sing, preach, and practice begins and holds together in Christ.

His life, death, resurrection, reign, and promised return shape our worship, discipleship, forgiveness, mission, and hope.

02

Scripture Is Our Foundation

God forms His people through His Word. We want preaching, worship, families, decisions, and discipleship shaped by Scripture.

We open the Bible because God reveals Himself, announces the gospel, and teaches us how to follow Jesus in ordinary life.

03

Community Is Essential

The church is a spiritual family. We grow as we worship, pray, serve, welcome, and follow Jesus together in ordinary life.

We want Kairos to be a family where people are known, welcomed, encouraged, prayed for, and sent to love God and neighbor.

01

Arrive Early

Come a few minutes before 1:30 PM for coffee, a warm welcome, and time to settle in before worship begins. It gives you space to meet someone and arrive without feeling rushed.

02

Come As You Are

There is no dress code and no pressure. We want you to feel welcomed, seen, and free to take a simple first step. Bring your questions, your story, and your real life with you.

03

Bring Your Kids

Children are welcome here, and we are building a joyful, safe, gospel-centered place for the whole family. We want parents and kids to know they have room to belong.

04

Worship & Word

Expect singing, prayer, Scripture, biblical preaching, and time for fellowship after the gathering. The center of the morning is hearing from God and responding together.

The Gospel

He left the 99to find you.

The good news of Jesus is not that you must clean yourself up before you come to God. The good news is that Christ came for sinners, for the weary, for the guilty, and for the wandering. Sin has broken fellowship with God, but Jesus came to seek and save the lost.

He lived the righteous life we could not live, died in the place of sinners, bore the judgment our sin deserves, and rose again in victory. Come to Christ with your questions, your shame, your need, and your whole life. His mercy is strong enough to bring you home.
