Family Corner
Family Corner.
A simple family pathway from Sunday's sermon into meals, bedtime, prayer, and ordinary obedience.
Ask every person to name one thing from the sermon that helped them see Jesus more clearly.
Let kids retell the sermon idea with simple props, drawings, or a short family skit.
Give each child one sentence to pray from the family corner, then close by praying for the church.
Choose one family practice for the week and put it somewhere visible before Monday begins.
Jesus is stronger than our need to control, and He calls us to trust Him with everything we are afraid to lose.
- Why were some leaders afraid after Jesus raised Lazarus?
- What does it mean to trust Jesus instead of trying to control everything?
- What is one thing our family can surrender to Jesus this week?
Practice
At dinner or bedtime, let each person name one thing they worry about controlling. Pray together and place those worries in Jesus' hands.
