Gospel clarity and conversions
Pray that Jesus would be preached clearly, sinners would be saved, and people in Sarasota would move from darkness into the light of Christ.
Give
Giving is an act of worship and partnership. At Kairos Church, we give not out of pressure, but out of gratitude for the grace of God in Jesus Christ.
Give to the Local Church
We believe giving is one of the acts of grace that marks a thriving church. The Bible does not form generous people through pressure, but through the grace of Jesus Christ, who became poor for our sake so that by His poverty we might become rich.
Generosity thrives in affliction, not in abundance.
2 Corinthians 8:1-2The Macedonian church gave from severe affliction, abundant joy, and extreme poverty. Christian giving begins with the grace of God, not the comfort of our circumstances. We give because joy in Christ grows deeper than our fear of scarcity.
True generosity is measured by sacrifice, not by surplus.
2 Corinthians 8:3-4The Macedonians gave according to their means and even beyond their means. Biblical generosity is not a polished leftover; it is love that costs us something. We give because God has made our hearts larger than the limits of self-protection.
Healthy giving comes from the heart, not pressure.
2 Corinthians 8:3; 9:7Paul says they gave of their own accord. We do not want giving shaped by guilt, manipulation, or spiritual pressure. God loves a cheerful giver, and the gospel forms people who give freely because grace is working inside them.
Giving is a response to God before it is a response to need.
2 Corinthians 8:5Before they gave to Paul or to the needs of the saints, they gave themselves first to the Lord. Giving is worship because it declares that God has supplied our deepest need in Christ and that everything we have belongs to Him.
Consistency is a mark of genuine love.
2 Corinthians 8:7-9Paul calls the church to excel in this act of grace also. Faithful giving is not only an emotional moment; it is a steady rhythm of trust, love, and mission. The grace of Jesus shapes us into people who give with long obedience.
Partner in Ministry
We invite friends, churches, ministry partners, and supporters throughout the world to help us declare and display the gospel in Sarasota. Partners can fund a specific ministry, participate with helping hands, open doors for collaboration, or simply reach out and ask where support is most needed.
Support steady pastoral care, teaching, counseling, and leadership development for a young church plant.
A young church plant needs steady pastoral care. Partnership helps move Pastor Igor toward full-time ministry and creates room for future pastoral staff, counseling, teaching, leadership development, and the day-by-day shepherding work that healthy churches require.
Help the weekly gathering remain a clear, hospitable place where the gospel is preached and practiced.
Every Sunday is a visible place where the gospel is declared and displayed. Partnership supports the weekly gathering where Scripture is preached, songs are sung, prayers are offered, guests are welcomed, and people are invited to respond to Christ.
Fuel local outreach, hospitality, family events, and everyday gospel presence in Sarasota.
We want to love Sarasota with open hands and clear gospel hope. Partnership helps us build outreach efforts like Lego Kids Club, bakery evangelism in local coffee shops, playground and park gatherings, and seasonal signature events including Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Fourth of July.
Create room to respond wisely to practical needs and help the church bear burdens together.
The first church bore burdens together, and we want that spirit to mark Kairos. A benevolence fund creates room to respond when people are overburdened, struggling, or in need of practical help and a faithful lift in life.
Invest in future missions, church planting, and partnerships beyond our own congregation.
We want to be planted pregnant: a church plant already praying toward future churches, mission partnerships, and gospel work beyond us. Partnership helps Kairos prepare to support missionaries, strengthen gospel work around the world, and one day plant more churches.
Help children, students, and young families receive safe, Scripture-shaped discipleship.
Many children, students, and young families are becoming part of Kairos. They need safe, joyful, Scripture-shaped spaces where they can know Jesus, belong to the church, ask honest questions, and grow as disciples.
Carry us in prayer
Prayer is not a small way to support Kairos. It may be the deepest way. We need prayer warriors who will carry the church, its leaders, its mission, and its people before the Lord with faith and perseverance.
Pray that Jesus would be preached clearly, sinners would be saved, and people in Sarasota would move from darkness into the light of Christ.
Pray for Pastor Igor, for sustainable full-time ministry, and for God to raise up future pastors, elders, and staff who can shepherd the church well.
Pray that Kairos would guard unity in the gospel, love one another through convictions, give freedom in preferences, and walk in humility.
Pray for faithful leaders, teachers, hosts, musicians, hospitality servants, youth and kids workers, and quiet members who strengthen the body.
Pray for the next generation to know Jesus, love Scripture, form lasting gospel friendships, and take the baton of faith with courage.
Pray for gospel conversations in homes, parks, coffee shops, neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and ordinary places where God sends us.
Pray for financial provision, ministry partners, church partners, missionary partnerships, and future church planting beyond our own congregation.
