Ministries

Grow together in Christ.

Ministries at Kairos exist to help people grow in Christ, serve one another, and live out the gospel in everyday life.

Ministry Philosophy

People,Not Programs.

Ministry is for people, not activity. We help one another worship Jesus, grow in the Word, build real relationships, serve with joy, and live on mission together.

We believe ministry exists to serve the spiritual health and mission of the church, which is people. The goal is not to keep people busy, but to help people worship Jesus, grow in God's Word, build meaningful relationships, serve with joy, and live on mission. Because Kairos is a young church plant, ministry is shared. Members actively serve, flexibility matters, and every believer has a meaningful role in building up the body of Christ.

We are prayerfully considering a girls Bible study on Wednesdays as well.

Every memberon mission.

Description

Kairos is a young church plant, which means ministry is not carried by a few visible people while everyone else watches. We are building together, serving together, praying together, and learning together how to declare and display the gospel of Jesus Christ in Sarasota.

How it operates

Shared mission means flexibility in expectations and stability in commitment. Needs will change, teams will grow, responsibilities will shift, and new opportunities will open as God brings people into the church family. The goal is not to fill slots, but to help every believer see that their gifts, presence, prayers, hospitality, generosity, and faithfulness matter.

Serving opportunities

  • Serve where needs are emerging
  • Welcome people into real community

Serve With Us

Not a statistic. A body.

Many churches quietly depend on a small circle of volunteers. We are praying for something healthier at Kairos: the whole body serving together, each person bringing their gifts, presence, prayers, and joy to build up the church and make Jesus known.

Are you serving the body?

Take a next step.

Ask the Lord where He is leading you to be useful in His church. Serving is not first a question of which department sounds interesting, but a prayerful question: Lord, where are You calling me to love, help, and build up Your people?

In a young church plant, many needs are simple, ordinary, and deeply important. Consider not only your own preferences, but the real needs of the church family, while continuing to seek God's guidance about your gifts, calling, and long-term place of service.

Ministry is not about position, title, or visibility. The church is strengthened when members serve with humility, love, patience, and a desire to edify the body and live out the mission of Jesus in everyday life.

If every member in the church served as you do, what kind of church would it be?
